Above is my finished video for the project.
The intention for the video was to be displayed in a gallery setting along with the photos, with the audience not necessarily watching the whole video but a section and then moving on. For this reason the video can appear quite receptive when viewed on it’s own, but I also wanted the viewer to feel awkward when watching it. I purposely used long clips, which intend to make the viewer feel uncomfortable, resembling the awkwardness of anxiety.
The video would be repeated on a loop within a gallery space, with the black pause at the end defining the end of the video before it starts again.
